So, stumbled across this use-case this morning when trying to get a particular spindle to fit on the V-Spooler default drive shaft (for the spool to wind to). I'd created a universal spindle system for the AMS Lite AMS Lite Universal Spindle by Jeff Smith - MakerWorld because I was tired of always having to have this adapter or that, and this makes using any type of spool on the AMS Lite easy.

Well, needed to re-spool from a cardboard spool that doesn't work correctly in the AMS and didn't have any of the 27 different adapters that are out there so I just grabbed one of the tapers from the AMS Lite Universal spindle and darned if it didn't fit the V-Spooler default shaft perfectly (at least the one I printed when the V-Spooler came out, might be different now? Don't know).

So, give this a try, it's an easy and fast print, and if it works for you, leave me a positive review, if it doesn't, let me know what doesn't work and I can likely modify it so that it will. I'm always looking to increase the versatility of my models, and while this one is something I stumbled across and hasn't been tested 20 ways from Sunday like the Universal for the AMS Lite was, it worked great for me this morning.

Note, I still use the axle/spool carrier for the receiving spool from the original V-Spooler, I think there is a newer one that is bigger. The original was smaller in the middle. You can get the older “universal spool clamp”, I think v6 as one of the downloads on the v-spooler model, or you can just upscale the taper in my model by 5% and it will likely fit.

i though it's for V-spooler beta 8 by Fryby, nooo .. it's for spooler AMS.. I have to modifier the center screw to 49mm diameter to fit.

Yep, as I mentioned in the upload/description, it works with the original center or the v6 version I think.

I'm confused, what part from this fits on the drive end of the V-Spooler? There's no drive part included here and the V-Spooler one doesn't fit the Sunlu spools. And there's 3 ends for the clamp end, which one am I supposed to use? I'm using V-Spooler Beta 7

It looks like the latest drive part has changed size to 54mm. In the original, or at least up until I stopped updating (around v3 or 4) it was smaller at ~49mm. It looks like the smaller version is available on his published list of "stuff" at V-Spooler Beta 6 - Generic Spool Clamp Option - Bambu

The tapers (from my model) are 50mm inside diameter, and the older drive part is 49mm, so should fit. If it's still a bit snug for you, just upscale the taper from my model by a couple percent in Bambu Studio. You could likely also just upscale the taper in my model by 5% and it would fit fine with the v7 version of the V-Spooler. I'll have to print one and see how big it is now unless you can measure the inside diameter for me, then I will add a taper that size.

Haven't printed this yet, but it looks like it will work for spools with a large center hole than Bambu. But if the center smaller, it can't be used. I have Sunlu and SnapMaker spools that have a center hole slightly smaller than Bambu that I'd like to use because they fit the AMS as good as Bambu spools do.

Howdy, I think they should work, they work fine for Sunlu on my AMS Lite (which is what I originally did them for). The longer of the two tapers is small enough at the end to fit into the smaller centers. Might be that I'm not following what you mean though, so a picture would help. I'll post a picture of the same tapers as in the set on a sunlu spool.

this is a Sunlu, the pointy end of the taper goes inside the spool.
