this is my favorite! thank you! I love the alternative handle and the tray too! I use 99% IPA and it turns my fingers white when trying to wipe with microfiber clothes, with this I use WAY less IPA, and it’s more of a consistent clean, thanks!
I love this cleaning pad so much, I designed a bunch of trays for different needs for it to hold multiple cleaners and bottles: https://makerworld.com/models/467269
I loved your work so much, I replicated it onto a Gridfinity base, as I'm a big fan of the Gridfinity system. Due to the dimensions of Gridfinity, I had space for the Bambu Scraper too. I'm just waiting for my Bottle to arrive, hence lack of bottle. You can find it here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/690723#profileId-619441
Fantastic. Cleaning plates was inconvenient (in a first-world-problems kind of way), and this takes it down to a few seconds. I'm using it along with the alcohol bottle that @AeonJoey posted below, and it's a huge quality of life improvement.
Nice tool. Unfortunately there is not enough area to grip and the thread gets stuck due to sloping overhangs when pressure is applied. I recommend a smaller layer height when printing.
Awesome feedback, I'll add an alternative knob for thinner cloth. The main reason of the current design is to prevent over torque and breaks the print threads, so it actually stops when bottom out at the inner top.
A very nice model! Quick and easy to make too! Maker thoughtfully provided lots of build choices.
I chose the reinforced model, and the taller knob versions.
I made two of them, one to apply some isopropyl alcohol to a build plate, and one to see if I can use it to wash off the build plate glue in the sink.
A little tip, once you cut out microfiber to shape, give it a quick kiss with a flame along the cut edges to prevent further shredding and pilling.
I made mine in red white and blue since I’m from the U.S.A. and we’re close to it being the 4th of July! 🇺🇸
