'Meh Pumpkin
Once upon a time in a quaint little pumpkin patch, there lived a unique pumpkin named Meh Pumpkin. While all the other pumpkins wore faces of joy, surprise, or spookiness, Meh Pumpkin had a permanent expression of "meh" etched into his features. His eyes drooped in a perpetual state of sadness, and his mouth was a straight line, showing neither happiness nor sorrow—just an eternal "blah."
You see, Meh Pumpkin had always been different. While the other pumpkins in the patch dreamed of becoming jack-o'-lanterns or pies, Meh Pumpkin couldn't muster the enthusiasm. He had watched year after year as his friends were picked one by one, leaving him behind like an afterthought. Each season, he hoped that maybe this would be his year, the year someone would see past his "meh" face and take him home. But as the days grew shorter and the nights colder, Meh Pumpkin found himself alone, yet again, in the empty patch.
He couldn't help but wonder, "Is it because of my face? Do people think I'm not festive enough? Not scary enough? Not cute enough?" These thoughts swirled in his pumpkin head, solidifying his "meh" expression even more. It seemed he was destined to be the last pumpkin in the patch, year after year.
But deep down, Meh Pumpkin held onto a glimmer of hope. Hope that one day, someone would look past the exterior and see the unique charm that lies within. Until then, he sits in his corner of the pumpkin patch, wearing his "meh" face like a badge of honor, waiting for the day he'll finally be picked.
And so, Meh Pumpkin remains, a symbol of all the overlooked and underestimated pumpkins of the world, forever questioning but never losing hope.
