Thanks to my latest booster: user_3733637168. If you boosted me previously, scroll down to see your acknowledgment.
No supports needed and no (sparse) infill used.
I strongly suggest printing this with TPU. The flexibility of TPU offers a better seal and improved usability. Printing with harder filaments is not recommended if you want a good functional can lid.
Or family has someone who frequently opens a can of carbonated water, drinks part of it, then puts it back in the fridge. A few hours later, when she returns to finish it, it is invariably completely flat.
Made this simple cap to help slow down the carbonation / fizz loss.
This fits many different aluminum cans (some samples posted here). Soda, carbonated water, beer and many energy drinks.
Another downloader mentioned an additional great use: keeping insects out of people's drinks in an outdoor setting like a picnic. You've probably seen a picnic table full of open cans with bees, wasps or flies walking around on the top of the container and trying to get a little sip for themselves. This cover can keep that from happening.
Standard Fit
The “classic” fit. Not as airtight as the version below but is a little easier to take on and off. TPU seals better than harder plastics. Available with and without a “hook hole” - a small hole in the “pull tab” to allow for hanging on a small hook for organization.
Extra Tight Fit (Snug)
Added a version that a bit tighter. If you use this version, you will almost definitely want to use TPU if you weren't already planning to. If you do use PLA or PETG this one may not even fit on the can. Even with TPU, this version will be a bit more difficult to get onto the can then the standard fit. But it is more airtight and will seal better. Available with and without a hook hole. To remove easier, use your thumb and push up from below on the thumb tab.
Thanks for the Boosts! I don't take them for granted and am very humbled and appreciative when I receive them and want to shout out the boosters here. If you boosted me but don’t see your name here, please send me a message so I can acknowledge your generosity.

Awesome Boost Supporters!
I have individual plates / 3MF for all four variants as well as a “sampler” if you want to print all four and then see which one you like best.
For the “Sampler” there are now 4 labeled plates showing which is which. Please note that the sampler profile has been optimized for regular TPU. If you intend to use “TPU for AMS”, please use the profile dedicated to that material for best results.
