Description

I loved https://makerworld.com/en/@AlFlo3D's model but as shown in the photos the angle for the arms as well as the clips needed adjustment to be able to fit the BoboVR S3 Pro Halo-style strap.

Modifications made:

-Resized the clips to fit the S3 Pro's 28mm width

-Rotated the headphone arms by 30 degrees towards the front of the Quest 3. (be advised that these parts have a right and left version)

When printed on my P1S in Overture Black PLA, the clips have just enough friction to hold their position while gaming but also are able to slide along the strap band to position directly over your ears.

I've included the individual STL files if you only need my modifications (LeftArmMount.stl, RightArmMount.stl, and short28mmclip.stl)

I used TinkerCAD but I'm still learning, so any advice/criticism is welcome!

I'm trying to alter this for a different head strap, but was wondering if you're able to the measure the width measurement of the s3 pro head strap before approach how make this work for my head strap. *edit* I re read the description and see that it's 28mm, which is exactly the same measurement width of my KKcobVR headstrap. Did you have to apply much pressure to get these over/around the strap?

koss porta pro, sportapro (cheaper), and KSC35 all use the same exact driver so buy whatever is cheapest. KSC75 is actually a different driver but same attachment mechanism so it works too.

They are the Koss KSC75 :) https://www.amazon.com/Koss-KSC75-Portable-Stereophone-Headphones/dp/B0006B486K/ref=asc_df_B0006B486K/?tag=hyprod-20&;linkCode=df0&hvadid=693293076147&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3747693129791823533&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9008150&hvtargid=pla-338189050706&psc=1&mcid=fdc351dc59853347b5c2c1b1182645a1&gad_source=1

koss SportaPro or KPH40 both have high output volume and fantasic wide sound stage, very pleasant bass without compromising mids and highs. these have all same snap fit joint like PortPro.

SportaPro, KSC35 and KTXPRO1 have 103 dB SPL. KPH30i, KPH40, PortaPro, KSC75 are at 101 dB SPL.

I have read that the KC75's are quiet, even compared to the inbuilt speakers, do you agree with this, or are they loud enough? Ive printed these out, but not sure about the headphones now.

eh, I'd say with the quest 3 as the source these don't get as loud as when you're listening to your laptop or some other device that actually has a headphone jack these days. For my needs though they are adequate.

Loud they can be when taking into account these excellent drivers are 60 ohm. Specs further give 101 db/spl what is loud.

not about the print, but how do you wear the bobovr s3 comfortable? without top reach it feels like the headset is going to fall of, but with the top reach it creates insane pressure points…

Had to flip 2 pieces upside down so the lego-hand lookin pieces had a base to print from w/o supports, great design!
