Description

EDIT: There is now a v2 with better threads as some users had trouble with threads binding on v1.

IMPORTANT: Print in the same orientation as the model is displayed in picture 1. Like any other small print, don't print too fast as the layers wont have time to cool down before the next one. It is even more important on a model that has threads.

Fun easter egg with threads to hold one kinder egg. No need for supports.

You might have to screw and unscrew it a couple of times to get the threads running smooth.

I love both versions but for some reason I always have those fine hairs. this with both pla and abs. any ideas?

Very sturdy print. definitely not a fragile egg. screwing it together is cery tight, you have to work it back and forth several times. Cute for the Nieces and Nephews Easter baskets! :)

Thanks for the post! If you find the threads too tight you can print v2 which has modified threads.

I just tried to print, but can't close fully, thread is to tight. Not sure if I did something wrong, this is my first print. Anyway my kids was excited.

Looks like you printed bottom part in the wrong orientation

Please avoid making subsequent changes to the print profile, the print works very well as is. Turning objects over without support structures inevitably leads to incorrect printing results.

It doesn't quite enthrall me. Printed in two different versions. The photos show two flaws I found in both prints. The first is somewhat more pronounced, the second considerably less so, but the lower outer section definitely needs revising.
