update 6

if you want to use it with Ele:goo filament I suggest you to also print this spacer  thanks

update 5

I have made a other remix of this spool with a smaller center to be able to use it with Eryone cardboard spool!!!! link here

update 4

what I have changed for this remix is I added the spacer on the outer spool to adapt the bambu printable filament clip!! I also added a place so you can put the bambu filament sticker when you order refill!!!

update 3

If you want to use cardboard spool with eryone you will need a adapter

you rip the cardboard on side at the time and insert the spool adapter (for eryone filament) plus the reusable spool, then you flip the roll and do the samething the other side. you can now use your Bambu RIFD for other brand of filament spool adapter link here

update 2

just add a .4mm nozzle ABS profile that you can use with the ABS filament clip profile

update 1

I just did a .4mm profile for PLA and with this one you can use the filament clip you want… no need to look at my profile….you can print the 2 colour one but thay fit a little bit tight, I had to use plier to press them in

Ok so I needed a spool that is fast to print, dosen't take mutch filament, that is direct replacement of the real bambu spool with RFID support, able to receive bambu filament identification sticker and something that use the bambu filament clip

also fit perfect Ele:goo cardboard spool and overture cardboard spool (with a shim or a old bambu cardboard center)

because I'm using a .6mm nozzle I rescaled the hole on the spool to insert the filament clip and also, I will drop a .6mm nozzle print profile for the filament clip so every part fit together!!

this is aslo a smooth plate profile, you can stick the bambu sticker on the side of your spool for filament identification.

why I need the filament clip? because in my drybox the filament spool fit verry tight so I don't want filament sticking out the side and those clip fit in the AMS.

It is really the ULtimate spool acording to me and my setup

Printed a few of these using both the PETG and ABS profiles. I used Zyltech clear PETG and the PETG profile worked great with no modifications. With the ABS profile I used Bambu ASA and that printed with no issues or modifications either. Nice lightweight design that doesn't use much filament and the two side join together nicely. Thanks!

Great print. I used PETG so I can throw it in my dryer (food dehydrator) with no worries. Thanks for the model!

bambu refill fits well, sticker with filament type can be attached, and in compare with other printed spools, this one is much faster and consume less filament for print.

Printed this roll to save material and time, with Bambu PLA. The only issue I found during respooling is that if one is not careful enough, the filament will push the sides making the roll larger than the AMS fit. I acknowledge that with such little mass, the PLA won't be stiff enough to hold the pressure, so this is more a heads up than a feedback. Havent tested with refills/cardboard spools yet, but should work great as it's the same fit as the Bambu rolls

I never tried to respool with them!!!! I use them with bambu refill!!!! I also use them with cartboard spool that I rip teh side appart and slide the spool in the center!!!! maybe try PETG spool if you want, I have a profile for PETG and it should be stiffer! thanks for the reply

didn’t like that it made these lines that are apart. but alright for it’s purpose.
