Description

This is a drill chuck which you can use to clamp drills, screwdriver bits, wires… basically whatever you want to clamp and fits in there :)

I made this because after all my silly projects I also wanted to make something usefull. I think this will come in handy for many people.

Works absolute amazing, I was trying to drill out some holes in a thin model, the drill would have broken it and turning it by hand wasn’t working either, but when I found this, I printed it and it did the job. Now I have a drill chuck and a tourbillion

fantastic print to explain to people the possibility’s of printing as a manufacturing tool. everyone I’ve shown the model to has been impressed about what you can do and how quickly you can make functional tools .

printed perfectly, and I can see how this can be useful as a handle, but not as a hand-held drill. I needed to crank the mandrill to the point of it binding in order to effectively hold a 3mm drill bit, at least with a round stem.

Printed on an A1 mini in PLA and, for a mechanical mechanism, went together very smoothly - great work! Will hold all the drill bits I have, from 2.5mm to 8mm (max probably around 10mm?) - exactly what I was looking for. Should be perfect for hand-reaming out holes in 3d prints when needed. Would love to see a matching handle for this - something that could clip in instead of the storage hole lid.
