Love these! My son (a new gravitrax fan) asked for some more rails, and I was able to churn out a whole bunch very easily. Thanks for including multiple plate configs w/ maxed out piece counts. I think I tried another rails model and this one came out the nicest. Printed in PLA on a P1S.

These are my favorite GraviTrax rail, but the 4x and 5x are too long for regular rail angles (like 1 height tile difference). Then they push on the tiles and cause the height tiles underneath to tip sideways. The Ravensburger GraviTrax 4x slow rails are 250mm long (4 x 60mm tile = 240mm + 5mm hook-in length on each side), whereas your 4x rails are 254mm long, which means each hook-in length pushes 4mm past the end of the tile slot on one side. And your 5x rails are 314.20mm long, which is 4.2mm too long. I am tired of having to rediscover this each time I return to this rail every few months, forgetting that their dimensions are too long. Over the past few days I printed many of these rails. I am using them in a display and was supposed to be packing them up today, but now I have to reprint them all with the design spec Ravensburger GraviTrax-compatible dimensions. I have remixed these to scale them down to 250mm and 310mm, and also improved the contact area of the square pads to provide much more surface area in contact with the printing plate where the square pads are located, with no aesthetic change to the rail. This allows much more reliable printing of these rails. Please allow remixes, or at least allow me to send you the updated files.

hi, thanks for the comments, I will see if I can update the file to fit the specifications. you can always send the files at info@jdo.solutions then I can use them as reference.

Replying to @JDOsolutions :
Ok. I will actually send you to the TinkerCAD file where I took your rails, added square blocks on the baseplates at the cross members, then joined everything, then scaled its length to remove the extra 4mm. The length you have might be good for steeper ramps, but not for regular use where it's a goal to conserve marble height for as long as possible.
