printed real nice but I have found the unit is not level on the ends. Magnets hold it at the middle but can't connect on the ends. Still love the case, just maybe one half didn't come out a bit warped. is that my print or file? idk.

That's mild warping. You can try to utilise the low temperature tolerance of PLA to fix it by clamping the part flat (it helps to also add a paper shim to actually bend it a bit the opposite way) and heating it over 55C with an ordinary hair dryer - it helped in my case.

good idea. I will try that.

Love the Caliper Case. Just needed to Extend the X-Axis in Bambu Studio by 4mm (Turned off Scaling) to fit my Harbor Freight NEIKO Caliper. I was able to use a length of 14 gauge electrical wire that I stripped of its insulation as a hinge wire. Fit perfect.

my caliper is a bit too long. how can i extend it a bit? what did you use for the hinges?

You could do it in for example blender or any cad software. Easiest way might be to split in middle, extend and fill the gap.

I used a piece of stripped 14 gauge electrical wire cut to length and it slid right in the holes for the hinge.

What did you use for hinge pins??

I used a stripped piece of 14 gauge electrical wire and it slid right in. And looks like it's just gonna stay in there and hinges nicely.

Great design, would be even better if there was a small fixed space for holding the battery.

An excellent model and print. Didn't fit my model of calipers though. No fault of the designer.

Just to clarify, changed to 5 stars as print profile worked great. Needed to buy super glue (It would be nice if the magnets were press fit), and no suggestion on what you used for hinges, so I have found my own solution.
