Description

This is my model of the Atlantis as seen in Stargate Atlanis tv series.

Model is over 60cm in diameter and approaches 3 kilos.
It has already built in preparation for the LED lights so if you want to make the towers and stardrive lit, you do not need to tinker with the data at all. It is once again a kit so everything fits together like a puzzle and no glue is needed.

For the easier assembly, please watch the following playlist where the assemble process is described in detail.

The model comes with a stand though in the end I decided to not use it and display it as it is.

Hope you like it.

This is seriously amazing. I used 3.5Kg of filament. The whole platform is easy to assemble, just click. The buildings had to be glued, so you need to think in advance if you are going to put lights. I love it. I'm a big fan of Atlantis and this made me really happy. I printed 24 plates. If you divide the buildings, you save a few plates, but I decided this way. I printed the small buildings on a separate plate. Thanks Martin ( vážně skvělý model :) )

This model looks great, the pylons, the floating body, is this grey or silver? I would love to know the color.

This is an amazing model! I had to scale it down to 60% to fit my A1 Mini, but it came out great! I used whatever filament I had on hand when printing, as I was working on fine-tuning a print profile for the A1 Mini. Printed at .12 layer height with a .4mm nozzle. It used just under 1 kilo of filament.

my X1C profile has some painting, but this increase printing time by a huge factor, from 2h no color to ...24h with 3 colors on some parts...I decided to print in one color, alternating gray colors, see the pictures in the profile. Multicolor is not ready for me, need multiple head or an inkjet coloring in the head...I don't like to produce so much filament waste

Fantastic model and thanks for all your hard work putting this together! This has been a long side-project over the past few weeks putting it together, painting and lighting it. One question though; i know you said you didnt use the stand but did you ever make a straight vertical version of the stand3.stl so it could be displayed flat but higher off a table surface? Been trying to figure best way to display it that also lets engine lights shine down as well.
