haha, just people uploading incorrect or incomplete print profiles to farm the makerworld points. I'm not saying the model uploaded by marceloc is bad, Ive seen some people upload wrong profiles just because a model is featured.

Well it took me about a month of non stop printing but it is done! If you have the time and the space it is well worth it! It weighs around 26 pounds. Please note this is the 100% sized version and not the scaled down 50% version. I digitally painted this myself in Bambu Studio.

In general, the model is flawless and can be printed very well, as long as you use the original files. The print profile from marceloc, which I used, is scaled down by 50%. This causes massive problems with the details, especially the bridge, sensors, PDCs and the brackets for the engines.

Do you have an estimate on how much filament you needed for the ship? I am guessing 3-4 kg of Black, 1kg of silver and 1 kg of orange.

Marceloc, Opening the project from Makerworld and it opens with ALL items on the plates scaled down to 50%. I did not notice this until after I printed well over 80% of this model. While almost everything prints, the very small parts like the air lock parts or the antennas are just too small and don't even survive being removed from the plates. I did not notice this until I started watching the assembly videos from Martin and noticed how big the pieces looked in his hands. While most of this ship will be complete, it will only be about 540mm in total length which is of course about 50% of what the model in the photos is. The real problem is that some of the detail will be missing because a lot of the smaller parts are just to small to print at 50%. I would recommend updating the description on the print profile to include that the model in the file is a 50% model. Because I like the model so much, I will probably print this again at 100% scale, but I feel other should be warned that the print profile is 50% at the very least. Martin, Please continue the great work on these models.

Man, i do only data, raw files. If you download a profile, it is not done by me. I am not a bambu user and i have never even seen a bambu slicer so you are crying well, just at the wrong grave....

I've started this beast at 100%. It is going to take... a while. The documentation is watching the youtube videos so you have to follow along very closely. As such I'd suggest you download the copy from Printables. Every section is in its own folder and will be MUCH easier to follow along since naming conventions are very similar. I almost printed 2 of mirrored parts not seeing there were M versions way at the bottom of the file structure. As I go through I will be painting all of the parts in BStudio and saving out the saved files. If there is interest I'll upload the painted multi-colour parts if Martin is cool with that.

Loving the build so far! The holes have been a little tight so I had to sand some pegs. The slicer has something called XY Hole Compensation I'm going to open the holes very slightly (probably .1 or .15 max). Also I could not get the pegs in even with sanding because of the air compression that was happening. I did a quick redesign that should work well for any air pressure issues. I'll print these with 4 walls just to make sure they stay secure.

what can I say. It is supposed to be a tight fit as there is no glue used in the model so it has to holdvery well on its own.
