Description

The magnetic Chute with detachable Baskets or an Outlet for the poop purged from the Bambu Lab X1/P1 series.

The Chute, Basket, and Outlet are all easily detachable, yet securely attached to prevent accidental movement.

The use of the Fixture (the light gray part in the photo) is strongly recommended, as it is very effective in preventing the Chute from shifting.

Please also check the photos and print profile for additional information.

Bambu should license this from you and include it as standard. Really appreciate your efforts here! This is a perfect accessory for my X1C.

I'm in awe with how beautiful these look and feel. Printed medium size box with Prusament PLA Galactic Black Thanks for a great model

That PLA looks really beautiful, almost seems to be carbon fiber PLA.

Wow, that color looks just like the Bambu case itself! What filament type and color did you use?

I printed the ramp yesterday, using the included parameters in the 3mf file, which came out great with PETG. But printing the basket is messed up 3 times already. Problem always returns on the verry same corner. No matter how I slice or turn the object. it seems to be a problem with acceleration after slowing down on the slope, and then immediately accelerate. I'm printing on a stock P1S, with PETG on the standard Generic PTFE preset. PS. the rest of the print is just great and almost perfect. It's only this verry same corner which gets messed up over and over again...

Enabling support settings might help.

This was happening to me too. Definitely a problem in the object's design, but I'm not sure what exactly causes it. I was able to fix it by moving the part in front of the aux. fan set to 80%, changed the overhang speeds, and removed the lid and opened the door. This was in PLA, so you might have different results with PETG.

This looks pretty similar to mine yes, however I think mine was verry extreme. Might have been the use of PETG. But to me it looks like a combination of problems. - the generated seam position, maybe in combination with the acceleration. - heat issues. I tried several prints already and the smallest basket actually came out pretty decent, while the ramp is exactly the same. Only the ramps on the other models came out like this. So because of that I think it's something with how the GCODE is generated. I also tried cutting off the ramp of one of the bigger models in Bambu Slicer to safe filament for testing purposes. And by doing so the ramp alone came out perfectly. So I'm sure it has not much to do with speed, support etc. And that it seems to something in the slicing. I also tried rotating the design a few times. The rest of the prints always came out superclean. But everytime had the same issue on the verry same corner. I actually gave up onto it for now... Just wasting a lot of filament on this one.

Fantastic! This was my first functional print for my P1S and it came out better than I could have possibly hoped!

Added hole to mount it more secure, because of magnets doesn't feel safe. I think it can be added by design (with small pop to fit printer hole shape, like in the BAC model). And probably then we also don't need the heel to stay on the table. Additionally the base part of model can be secured by some kind of hook under printer case corner, and it should allow to get rid of magnets completely.

Do you perhaps have the template for that? I would also like to screw it together

Excellent design and printed with default settings without any issue. As I have 4x2mm magnets instead, I printed my own adapter to convert it to 6x2mm and it fits perfectly. Must have mod.

Save material - 6x3 magnets, medium box, 2 walls, 5% infill
seems to be a lot of reverb around holes print height. Also half way through the bottom part of the print seems to be a print line defect. don’t know if that’s caused by the speed of the print. I used whatever profile cam with the model / slice settings

Seems to be a print issue, because I printed it myself and a dozen other people have printed with this profile and came across no such issue. What I can diagnose from this picture is maybe the nozzle hit something during the print, which caused it to skip steps and then the printer re-homed itself without pausing (which it does!), which led to this minor defect in the z-axis. Did you try printing it again?

I experienced the exact same issue printing with PLA + Sunlu at sports speed, the parts separating in two at the exact same spot 😭
