Description

Who’s up for a massive challenge? Well here’s one for you - I designed 51 different maze levels, each more complex than the previous one. This design is for the maze level 1. While the maze design is level 1, the cup that has the hooks is designed to fit all 10 levels, so if you choose to do more than one level, you don’t need to print the cup 10 times (unless you want to).

LEVEL 1 MAZE:

Print Dimensions: Height =11 cm (4.33 Inches) | Diameter of 5.35 cm (2.11 inches)
Layer height: 0.2 mm

Infill type: Gyroid

Infill percentage: 12%
Print speed: 250 mm/s

Print time: 1 hours and 59 Minutes

Amount of material required: ~ 17.2 m

Hi, love the model, but would have been a lot better IMO if it ended on a sideways movement so you could pick it up without it sliding up.

Hi, thank you for the comment. This was problem for the early levels, but I made a small hook at the end of the maze that keeps it closed from later levels. It was introduced from level 11 and forward. Additionally from level 16 there is a 1 way closing pat so that you can close the maze without the need to solve it.

OK thanks, do you know how much these can successfully scale down? I want to make a "Russian doll" scenario where I put one inside the other etc etc.

Just printed 11. Definitely better but even after a few turns that little stop is getting easier and easier, I just think with all that empty space down the bottom it needs to go sideways, it could even have a couple of up and downs in it.

Works beautifully! Slides perfectly, doesn’t catch at all and looks great. Not too hard, which is perfect for a Level 1 puzzle. Can’t wait to print the higher levels as well. Great work!

Scaled down to 80mm high for the small one, 170mm high for the big one. It's possible to make a forth but over 20 hours of printing! Yes they all fit into each other.

Great model. It printed well and is fun to figure out. I think it's a good level of difficulty, it requires a little thinking but is very solvable.
