Update 15/10/2024: Made changes to the model so it can have your own custom Name or Text. Instructions bellow. Also added close up shots of the print quality

This Lightbox was made to be offered as a gift and the kids sure loved it! It's AMS and Non AMS friendly and the separate color files are there for you to download. If you use the AMS, then it's as simple as loading the profile and the plates are with the correct layout. Only need to change the colors in your unit.

Not compatible with the A1 Mini and updated with a profile for Your Own Custom Name.

As an update, the name can be customized in Bambu Studio. Here are the instructions:

Select the Object:
- Click on the object labeled “Custom Name”
Edit the Text:
- Click on the "Text Shape" option in the top menu bar (The big “T” button).
- Write whatever you want. Don't touch any setting if you don't need to!
Position the Name (optional):
- Use the "Move" tool in the top menu bar to place the name in the correct position.
- Don't change anything related to the text, except your custom writing and Font (custom downloaded fonts must be installed “For Everyone” in your computer, to them to appear on Bambu Studio).

It comes ready with the inside dimension for some LED assembly. It can be used with or without LED's.

If you use LED's, i recommend the ones on Maker Supply or, some cheap WS2812B from AliExpress or Amazon with the Bluetooth controller. That way you can play with the many combinations possible, including only White.

If you want to keep the original colors, and with light inside, then buy some 1,5 meter USB white LED strip and just glue it inside and press the cover. It's a tight fit and it's ready to be displayed in your kids room or in any desk.

Instructions/Advice: If you use LED's, glue them near the Back as much as possible, so the light can be even through all the print. Check if the Back Cover closes without touching the LED strip first!

As always, downloading is fun, but letting the creator know how it printed and showing him some love is even better and keeps the creator posting more things for you to print.

Hello. The details on how to add the name are in the description. You just need to double Click the "custom name" object and write your name. That's it. You also need to do it in the computer. If you are printing through the phone app, it's not possible to write your own name :)
