Description

Introducing the AMS Lite PTFE Guide: A customizable sleeve designed to securely accommodate the PTFE tubes, preventing bending and potential damage during printer operation.

Designed to seamlessly integrate with the robust structure of AMS Lite motors, this design ensures minimal strain on the cover (where there are the numbers and the LEDs), preserving its integrity and functionality. Each sleeve is effortlessly replaceable and you can print it in various colors for personalized customization.

I used a modifier in Bambu Studio to add colored rings, indicating the Spool Number. I paired this with my AMS Lite Top Mount. Love this print!

But your (screw-in) guides are mounted upside down, downwards instead of upwards (see other images) Is this intentional (if so, why?) or an oversight

Printed great in prusament Lipstick Red, seems to work fine so far, no resistance when loading and unloading filament.

I’m glad to hear that it’s working well for you! One of the things I focused on in the design was ensuring there’s no resistance when loading new filament. It’s great to see it performing as intended.

Great model! I used this with my ams lite top mount and it is much more ascetically pleasing than the one bambu included in their model.

ok so seriously, everyone with an A1 absolutely needs these if they are top mounting. this should be top of the list when it comes to A1 ams lite top mount mods. really great work! thanks!

Thank you for your feedback. Indeed, the project was originally designed for horizontal use. However, you could consider scaling it down slightly to ensure a tighter fit.

The guides that come with the AMS lite top mount don’t fit very nice. I found and printed these. Do yourself a favor, USE THESE. Absolutely excellent project/print.

This is world‘s better than the model that came with the bamboo top mount models . It also pairs nicely with the clip on number tags I printed.
