Description

This is a swivel away bearing upgrade for use on the main spindle end and leadscrew end to help with keeping it down and in place. You'll need to superglue the two halves together since it was easier for printing in this orientation. You really only need one clip but I printed two so I could add one to the inside of the frame as well for extra holding force.

This is such a well thought out design and add-on to the Pastamatic. It keeps everything secure and makes things spin much better. My only request is that the clips be made with a hole and not an half opening on one end to keep them attached when opening it up.

This is a really great idea! No more jumping spools! My only gripe is that the tolerances on the pins are too tight. I had to sand them on my 60 grit blocks, but other than that everything works great!

Just the thing I was looking for! I printed a total of four to keep everything in place. I did find that when I added a second retaining clip, on the inside, it was a little loose and would vibrate off during use. I printed another set at 99% and now they're snug enough to stay put.

Used in two locations on the Pastamatic. Keeps the driven spool in place when running at high RPM.
