how did you get the lid to work so well? Mine dont look good with the overhang

I painted supports onto the bottom of my lid and threads and just sent it to print. Fingers crossed it prints nice! I used the bucket fill option when I painted the supports on too.

So with the help of Ashley I have a great remix with painted supports for the lid, it came out perfect and may help some of the people having issues.. I tried to post a remix but it says its not allowed. will you ever allow this! I love the print it is amazing! I am going to try and make a smaller version as well by using the scaling feature!

Are you able to take a screenshotof how you drew the supports on for the lid? Haven't manually drawn supports on before. Edit: NM, looks like creator posted a V2 of the lid. Will try that first. Thanks just the same!

Printed great. I uploaded my print profile. Used 0.2 layers and added a filament change at layer 555 of the cup to add the silver rim. I used auto tree supports for the cup and manual for the lid and painted them on. For anyone interested here is a list of the colors I used: Ziro Magenta Geeetech Metallic Silver Sunlu White

Thanks!! I ran a few more. But now that I'm trying to put an actual keyring on there and not a teeny tiny jump ring nothing fits :( It just looks so awesome though in some rainbow silk

yes, I recommended that you use tree supports on the cup and supports on the lid as well. I crea ted it both ways and the supports definitely help

I am assuming you used support filament or a different filament then what you are printing the lid with? I tried supports and couldnt get them removed

no, I used the regular filament for the complete print. I removed them with a short needle nose pliers. I have used both tree supports and normal supports although I found the normal supports harder to remove
