The design is good because of its minimalism, but I had issues while printing. The drawer holder fell at the end of printing and wobbled, resulting in a wavy shape and an unfinished product. Additionally, the holder was slightly bent, so I had to heat it and bend it back to its original shape to hold the drawer on its slides. I printed it vertically (logically), but the slides get stuck every time because both the drawer and holder have vertical layers. Sanding and applying grease will somewhat fix this issue. It’s a good design, but I won’t print it again.

The design of this 3D printed drawer is undeniably elegant, with an impressive appearance that speaks to the creator’s aesthetic sensibilities. As a retired product designer, I can appreciate the effort and vision behind this project, and I give it five stars for its visual appeal and the sophistication of its form. However, from a functional perspective, there are several significant issues that make it feel unfinished: 1. Operational Noise: The print orientation leads to an incredibly loud drawer operation, even with generous application of grease. 2. No Back Stop: The absence of a back stop means items fall straight out, which is inconvenient and impractical. 3. Pucker Marks: The front of the drawer exhibits pucker marks from the piece behind it, which detracts from its otherwise polished look. 4. Smooth Face Printing Challenges: Achieving a smooth face requires printing the piece face-down on a textured plate, which limits options for those aiming for a pristine, untextured finish. In conclusion, while this design is aesthetically outstanding, I would encourage the creator to revisit the functional aspects to ensure it meets the practical needs of users. With these improvements, this could truly be an exceptional product.

This is a very nice design. I struggled with the drawer slide part lifting off the plate as some others did but assumed this was due to me not knowing what I’m doing. It is a bit noisy when opening and closing but I it will probably smooth itself out. All in all the perfect drawer for my needs. Thank you for sharing!

Used ABS and the drawer came out perfect. But unfortunately the drawer holder had warping problems midway through the print. Probably my enclosure was not holding the right temperature. Overall I like the design a lot.

Generally, the drawer itself prints well on my A1 Mini. I had some problems with the drawer holder, the print failed several times and broke off. I increased the brim size for the holder, but that didn't really help. I then printed the whole thing very slowly, which had more success. In my opinion, the holder is not dimensionally accurate enough and should be designed more precisely, it also requires a lot of filament.
