This is a protective terminal cap for use on standard 9V batteries. Some benefits include:
For the city where I live, when we recycle batteries, we are asked to put electrical tape over the terminals before putting them in a zip lock bag so they don't short circuit. At less than a gram of plastic each, I just print these instead of using tape.

Never expected but always appreciated :-)
Thanks for the Boosts! I don't take them for granted and am very humbled and appreciative when I receive them and want to shout out the boosters here for a special thanks. If you boosted me but don’t see your name here, please send me a message so I can acknowledge your generosity.
Despite there being a “standard” for terminal sizes and spacing, there is just enough +/- in the spec standard (and printer tolerances) that the caps fit some brands of 9V batteries slightly better than others. This has been tested on many brands, however and should work well enough.
If for your printer and battery brand is one of the rare combinations where it is too tight, scale up the model by 1% for PLA/PETG or consider TPU. This model should work as-is for 99% of you with no modifications in whatever material you want to use.
