Description

Parametric Skadis board generators are commonly available, but they typically require the installation of CAD software and a fundamental understanding of how to use it. Fortunately, for those who prefer not to engage with CAD, I have good news. Presenting 99 different designs of IKEA Skadis pegboards, these variants all fit on the build plate of your A1, P1P, P1S, and X1. To enhance user convenience, I've organized the files based on the number of columns, creating separate print profiles for each. This categorization allows for more straightforward and intuitive navigation.

Updates

13.09.2024: 11 x 11 Board
I've added the STL file for the 11 x 11 board to the download section. However, it's not included in the print profiles, as it requires either an A1 printer (which I don't have) or modifications to your P1/X1 machine, along with specific settings. For more details, check out the related article on the wiki. If you create a print profile for the 11 x 11 board, feel free to upload it!

Wall Mounting

You can use my IKEA Skadis Wall Mount set, designed for seamless mounting of the board to a wall or any wooden surface. This set accommodates M4 screws and comes in two distinct sizes for your convenience: 10mm and 20mm. Opt for the 20mm variant to ensure compatibility with the Skadis board's original mounting mechanism, although it's worth noting that this much space isn't necessary. For most installations, a pair of screws at the top suffices, but you have the option to secure all four corners for added stability. Alternatively, consider employing Screwless Support Feet designed for the lower half of the board.

Ha, I had no idea such a thing existed - but I was recently thinking it should!.... By the way, your ring is EXACTLY like the one I made for myself; crushed opal in resin on a stainless steel channel ring, right?

Had nowhere for my prints so pulled my old shelving unit out of storage for prints for the side of my desk, and realized the side panel was empty and ugly. i found this skadis stl here on makerworld and it instantly mademe know what i had to do next. printed in eryone china red, i now have 3 small box storag, a drink holder, and pliers storage that i did not have previously. no more drinks knocked over my keyboard or work area the fact it comes with size options made my life so much easier. i had no tape measure so used a 1 layer print of one of these to measure which was at minimal cost. shown in pic in white on desk. my room mate is now looking for a new desk and additions so he can do similar to make the most of his space. truly a great file with 0 issues through 7 prints so far

I've printed several of these boards for my sister and my husband. They look very nice and if you're using a PEO/PEY plate, you may want to use a brim to keep the corners from coming up.
