Description

This my remote control holder with 3 departments!

You no longer have to look for the remote control all over the living room. Store them at your table in this holder.

I also made a version with 4 compartments: https://makerworld.com/en/models/153970#profileId-168273

The print is possible without AMS! The body and side walls are on separarate plates.

After printing, simply slide in the walls. No gluing necessary!

If necessary, cut off a little bit of the edges as shown in this picture:

Print instructions:

  • layer height 0,20mm
  • 3 wall loops
  • top/bottom shells 4 layers
  • top/bottom shell thickness 0,80mm
  • sparse infill 10%
  • sparse infill pattern “gyroid”

Before printing, make sure your build plate is clean and apply some adhesive. Wash the build plate with oil free soap and wipe it off with some paper towels. For build plate adhesion, apply a thin, even coat of your preferred adhesive. I repeat the process every 5-6 prints.

Before printing, make sure your build plate has a decent adhesion. Aftermarket plates like the ones from Alibaba haven’t good adhesion. Curling will probably occur if you don’t use original build plates! Bad build plate adhesion is not related to the model or the design!

Please have a look at my other models: https://makerworld.com/en/u/1597610120

If you were satisfied with the model and the print, leave me a like, i would appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

my remotes, LG tv and H&K amp, just fit. do sometimes accidentally press a button when taking them out since it's that tight. A little bit more room would be nice. looks amazing though.

Thank you kindly for your rating! This is an easy task to do, you can scale the model up in the slicer. In Bambu Slicer you need to click on the model then click on "scaling" then you can choose to scale uniform or non uniform. First lets talk about uniform scaling. Look at my screenshot "remote control holder uniform scaling": You click the model, then click scaling, then you can click the green marked box "scale x", this means you scale everything by the percentage you fill in the green marked box. You will see the new sizes of each axis x,y and z so you can figure out if you need to scale more or less. Now we look at non uniform scaling. Look at my screenshot "remote control holder non uniform scaling": You click the model, then click scaling, then uncheck the yellow marked box "uniform scaling", now you can scale each axis in the green marked boxes by the percentage you whish independant from each other. You see the new sizes in the blue marked boxes. I hope you understood my attempt to explain it to you . If you have trouble, then let me know and i will set up a custum profile for you.

This turned out fantastic! Printed in: Hatchbox PLA Black Amolen Blue/Green Silk The only issue I had was the largest side pieces needed reprinted due warping near the edge of the print bed. I recommend reorienting before you print.

Thank you kindly. If you get warping when printing PLA, this is a clear sign that your build plate has no good adhesion. PLA does not warp at all. Maybe you plate needs to be cleaned or the plate itself is bad. I had some aftermarket plates that had horrible adhesion!

After rearranging the sides on the print bed, the print came out perfect. I even printed a second one for my in-laws.
