Description

18 Jan 25: Added a new profile for a TPU stem version. Just glue the stem to the carrot for maximum stem durability. There are quite a bit of supports for the TPU stem to print half decent, they are not to support it vertically, but rather they are supports to stabilize the stem from moving in the XY while it is trying to print. They remove pretty easily.

This TPU stem is just so bendy

Now you can take your impractical toy sword with you on the go to the grocery store. Stick this fake carrot in your shopping cart with all your other vegetables and no one will be the wiser. Have it on standby for quickdraw in the case of an unwanted altercation in the chip aisle.

Go for a walk, just holding your big plastic carrot in your hand like a completely normal person. Now if someone looks at you the wrong way.. Bam! Quickly pop off the magnetic carrot tip and in one fluid motion, your carrot becomes an action hero's secret weapon!

This carrot is the answer to many of life's questions, and most importantly the one we ask ourselves each day, Why?

Well… Why Not?

It's a fricking carrot with a concealed katana in it. What more do you want??

Anyways, I'll upload two profiles, one with the stem and one without. You'll probably just break the stem off anyways doing some crazy katana'ing in your basement. Both carrots will require 4 - 3x6mm magnets to connect tip to body.

Other Issues:I encountered the same fusing problems with the blades at the seams, just like others. To fix it, I printed the blades separately, which took two tries (the first had layer shifting due to blade vibration). Afterward, I successfully fit them into the carrot handle, but the stems broke in the process. If others attempt separate blade printing, I recommend reducing the travel speed to 100mms to prevent the blades from vibrating at the top layers.

how you managed to insert blades into handle?

Interesting! Did you use my profile? If yes, when did you download it? As I recently updated the seam profiles and that seemed to solve some people's seam fusing issues.

I just wiggled them into one another until it slipped in.

2 attemps and both are failed on A1. 1. detached from bed on 76% 2. added tree support, but still detached on 97%. But the main issue with seams, as these are welded blades together abd it’s not possible to take them out…

1. You need better bed adhesion, clean the bed and add glue if needed. 2. Where are you adding tree supports? Nothing needs supports.. 3. I updated profiles yesterday with manual seams for the blades to reduce fusing

no issue with other prints, adhesion is solid, bed is clean and I don't use glue on my textured pei plate. but this is not big deal, I printed missing part, the main question now, how can I release blades?

Slide something thin between the blades to force them to separate or print the new profile with better seams

I Printed with Bambu P1sc, Esun PLA+ Orange and Pine Green. It printed well, but 2 part stick inside, so i fix with steel wire and ruler. i removed 9 part of seaming line combined. After it, it works well. I find out that there was update with seaming, so i checked on slicer, there was fix like picture. I am printing one more now, i hope i works well.

I have tried the v3 and keeps failing right as green starts. The blades are aren’t fusing together anymore, but the top is failing I’m using x1c. I’m using PLA and all your settings on the file.

What do you mean by failing? Like the print isn’t finishing?
