Cap/Cover for female Ethernet Ports to prevent dust from getting inside. Easy to print without any supports. You can use a brim if you have adhesion problems.
Both, PLA and PETG, are fine. But I would suggest to use PLA, because PETG has a tendency to bend down while printing if you have insufficient part cooling. I also suggest a 0.12 - 0.16mm layer height. In the picture you'll find a comparison about the different settings.
Also try to print multiple covers at once, to give each layer more time to cool. I personally print them in a batch of nine.
Update 19.01.2023 - Steeper version
I've added a version with a steeper connection between the handle and the cover. This might be better printable on printers with less good cooling or materials that may tend to bend down.
Update 21.01.2023 - Reinforced v2
I've added a new version of both models with a reinforced connection between the cover and the part going into the Ethernet port. This may prevent cracks at this point.
