Hi Everyone, This is a shoe rack design based off of my Monitor stand. This can be printed on a Prusa Mk3 Bed dimensions. You will need to print with no top and bottom layers. The pictured infill is 5% honeycomb with 9 perimeter layers.

For the piece of wood. You can use any 3/4 thick wood, plywood, mdf, laminate etc. The depth is 8 inches and the length is however long you would like.

works as expected. a very tight fit for the wood. could be trimmed a mm or two to make the fit easier but it fits regardless.

I modified it a bit to accommodate the size of the extra wood flooring scraps I had lying around, including the nosing for a nice front edge.

awesome print. only thing I would recommend is instead of having 3/4 inch wood to update the design to an inch. hard to find 3/4 wood

I had to stretch the hight to 103% to fit a 19mm thick piece of wood. the width is no problem for 200mm

this was exactly what I was looking for to use with IKEA Berghult shelf for my Lego display. This also came in clutch for my kids’ play kitchen. ive searched on and off for almost a year to find shelves that fit inside perfectly. BOOM. solution found and my girls are amped about organizing their play fridge. thank you.

If you check the settings for the profile the top and bottom shell layers are set to 0. Once you slice the plate the solid surface will not be present and you'll see the pattern that is set as the infill pattern. The default pattern is rectilinear, but if you change it to honeycomb then you'll get the honeycomb pattern :D

awesome explanation, I was also wondering how/why it looked different prior to slicing.

print profile was great. however I did end up designing my own (almost exactly the same). only thinner to save time and material. I didn’t think it needed to be 1” for only holding shoes.

I designed my own "Stackable Shoe Rack", but I got my inspiration from your design. Thank you with a boost 😉
