Description

Gridfinity storage for A1 series nozzles. The uploaded profile was printed in ABS/ASA but any regular filament should work fine.

Looking for storage for H2D nozzles because they seem pretty similar? They are not, but luckily I have adapted this model for the H2D :) Please take a look over here!

Note that the latest print profile has a slight modification to remove a lip that was inhibiting insertion of the nozzles. You’ll see this discussed in the comments and I went ahead and made that change :)

Original Onshape CAD is available here.

I found the issue with the tight fit. It isn't actually the tolerance. The back edge of the nozzle body slot has a lip that extends into the body slot opening. You can feel this with your thumb. If this lip is removed, the nozzles fit easily. The lip is causing the nozzle to enter at an angle and bind.

I could make that adjustment and upload a revised model if you think that's worth it!

That would be great. I used a knife to trim that area away and it made inserting the nozzles effortless. Thanks so much!

No worries, let me figure out how to get that fixed up and I'll do a test print, then get it uploaded

I was unsure about if I was going to like this print. Then I printed and I love it - great job. Well done 10 STARS.

Absolutely stunning! Few containers boast six seats. Printed with PLA Matte Earth, 0.4 nozzle, 0.20 layer.

I think this is the best one for nozzle storage, since the area takes only 2x2 units for 6 nozzles. I didn't utilize 2 colours, since this sits in a drawer anyway :D

When I check the model in the slicer, the V2 model doesn't have the gridfinity part on the bottom. Was that missed when updating it?

Oh really?? I'm not sure how I could have missed that. I'll correct it straight away

The top part is extremely nice and fits the nozzles just perfect. However for me the bottom part was ever so slightly to small or rather the gaps to "click" onto the base plate had just a bit to little space to fit the baseplate properly. This is the only gridfinity accessiory so far that has this issue. First I thought it might be due to scaling or something. And if i wanted to I could push it down and it "clips" onto the baseplate, but my idea is having magnets to pull the tray down by itself. Nobody else had this issue?

Try the new profile I uploaded; I used a newer version of the baseplate which I think might resolve the issue.

Solid nozzle storage. I printer several for my available nozzled, and a red one for clogged nozzles that need to be cleared later.
