Note the following: please turn off the purifier when you need to keep the environment warm after you finish hitting the performance filler materials such as ABS, conformity, carbon fiber, etc., and wait until you finish hitting it before you turn on the extraction and filtration.

This is a really well-designed model. Keeping the front compartment at about 42℃ before use and the rear compartment at 36℃ after use (with room temperature at 25℃) eliminates the risk of PLA and PETG clogging. Because I needed to create a compact structure, I redesigned the air duct, and it works really well. Thanks to the author for the model, it's been a huge help.

Would you be willing to share the design for this air vent?

So I don't get it is there a secondary fan somewhere pulling air out? I don't think the chamber fan alone would be powerful enough to push air that distance and through a HEPA filter. 🤔 Also is the air purifier chamber sealed?

Sorry, the first one was "the wrong one". So I was going to edit my comment but deleted it . The creator seems to use the "Xiaomi Anti-Formaldehyde Filter for Mi Air Purifier 2". If I understand correctly, this should filter a little more than the "Xiaomi Hepa Filter" ("Old"). As I understand it, this system uses the filter from the Xiaomi Air Purifier 2, so any filters that fit this Air Purifier should also work. "DE": https://www.amazon.de/Xiaomi-SCG4026GL-Formaldehyde-Filter-Grün/dp/B08B15DQNL/ Thus, these could also fit: - https://www.amazon.de/Wessper-Anti-Formaldehyde-Kompatibel-Purifier-Luftreiniger/dp/B08K394PLD - https://www.amazon.de/SHAPOKY-Luftreiniger-Aktivkohlefilter-Luftfilter-Formaldehyd/dp/B0BM9R9VDY ("Old") Filter (EU): https://amzn.eu/d/0SW0rdr The other components are: 1. suitable "hose" (100mm diameter) 2. exhaust fan How well these and the whole project filter, I can not yet say. For that, I first have to build it myself.

So would you need to purchase a Mi Air Purifier 2 and take out all the internals and move them into the 3D printed enclosure for this to work? Seems like this requires an additional fan powerful enough to suck air from the printer chamber and our through the filter. There's no way the printer chamber fan would be able to do this alone.

You can continue to boost the exhaust fan outside the case, but the airflow and noise levels need to be balanced according to your own needs. Another option is to choose the speed-controlled fan mentioned in the video, which will also be louder but will draw air faster.

Initially, I also thought the airflow was weak. You could try removing the case filter.

Submitting the assignment, great design. I modified the air vent, using a magnetic quick-release design. When not in use, the printer's air duct can be removed, and the purifier's air vent can be plugged with a stopper.

If you want greater air flow, you can choose the black version of the exhaust fan shown in the video.

Air purifiers are essential, and my approach is to filter from the source by enclosing it in a sealed box.

Could anyone share a link to a hose that is odorless? The hose I bought online has a stronger odor than the printer itself, which is concerning. 😓

Could you please provide a screenshot of how to set up the Xiaomi Smart Home app's linked switch function? I'm using the second-generation gateway version, but I can't find this feature.
