Description

third version of my articulated crystal dragon.  shorter body and longer tail. body parts are also improved.

the model is prescaled and i wouldnt recommend to scale down, i tried smaller, as shown on the photos and it was still pretty good, but for better quality dont scale down.

lovely file! however fragile 😂Managed to break him when taking off the plate but got him gluing so that bit won’t be as articulated but he lives 😂

@Maty505 I’ve had about 8 attempts printing this. only 2 can out fully printed. I have a P1S and it keeps making this grinding noise right before it prints. i don’t know if that is affecting my models.

Hey, I dont really know whats wrong. The model itself is fine. At what stage does the print fail? Maybe try printing another one and then if it fail send me photos of it. Also you can try to search on google if your printer gives you any error code.

@Maty505 I’ve used the 150 scale print profile. the head is levitated by a layer. it fails near layer 5. for all I know it could just be the printer.

I didn’t get an error code. I had to manually check in on the camera and stop it if it went haywire.

Scale 150%, 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 10% infill
This dragon is incredible. I printed at 150% scale and this thing filled my print bed. I started with plain black in the very bottom layers then switched to a silk tri-color filament (blue, purple, black) for the rest. Absolutely love how this thing came out. I had intended to give it to my daughter, but decided to keep this one for myself. She can have the next one.
