Olympia, was the only daughter of Zeus and Hyppolita. She was a demigoddess who lived to become an amazon, particularly fond of archery and martial arts. She is known to be cunning, brave and skilled in combat.

This model is after the portrayal of Olympia crafted by Ukrainian artist Oleh Stanislavovych Kiryukhin.

The sculpture was created in 1956 and can now be viewed in The Walker Gallery in Liverpool.
