Frames for Earrings, Pendants, and Keychains – A Creative Use for Bambu Lab’s Purge Tower (Prime tower)!

I have designed unique frames—four variants for pendants and keychains, and two variants for earrings that can be used to create earrings, pendants, and keychains. These frames are specifically made to fit the purge tower generated during printing on Bambu Lab printers. This way, you can repurpose what would normally be waste and turn it into something beautiful!

Even tall purge towers fit into the frames and look unique.

How to Prepare the Prime Tower for the Frame?

To fit the purge tower into the frame, it must be printed without a brim. The brim is a thin layer around the base of the print that improves bed adhesion, but in this case, it is not needed.

How to Disable the Brim in Print Settings?

1. Open Bambu Studio.
2. Go to the print settings for your model.

3. Find the Brim option and Set the brim width to 0 mm 

    

How to Insert the Purge Tower (Prime tower) into the Frame?

Once the print is finished, carefully fit the purge tower into the frame:
✅ Slide it in evenly, little by little, to avoid damaging the material.
✅ If the fit is too tight, lightly sand the edges with fine-grit sandpaper.
✅ If needed, add a drop of glue to secure the connection.

With these frames, you can create unique and eco-friendly accessories by repurposing 3D printing waste! 🌿♻️
