Description

- Description -
Modular customizable printer chamber exhaust components. Including supplemental fan, air ducting, and filter housings for HEPA and/or Carbon Charcoal filters.
 

This new design integrates modular components for a completely customizable X1C/P1S exhaust solution. No matter if you just need simple filtration or a full airflow supplemented exhaust, you should find the components to accommodate most printer ventilation needs.

- Component groups - 
Printer Mounting plates: (One of these needed)
(Plate mounted to printer utilizing existing threaded holes on the printer, using x4 M3x6mm button cap screws. All Base Plates accommodate printers that have the AMS Hub installed).
Base, A - Mounting Plate for additional modules. With holes for Inserts.
Base, B - Mounting Plate for additional modules. With holes for M3 Screws.
Base, C - Filter Cage Box Mounting Plate with holes for Inserts.
Base, D - Filter Cage Box Mounting Plate. With holes for M3 Screws.
Base, Exhaust Hose - Use for direct hose connection to machine exhaust.
Base, Gasket - TPU gasket used between printer and Base component *optional


Replaceable HEPA/Carbon Charcoal Filters:
(Please use multiple filters with caution. Using both may be too flow restrictive on the chamber exhaust fan. Using less filter materials or supplemental fan may be in order).
Filter, HEPA Tray - For use with HEPA filters.
Fitter, Carbon/Charcoal Sheet Tray - For use with Cut-to-Fit Carbon Charcoal Pad Sheet.
Additional Filter Cage Box - Use to add additional filter for multiple filters.


Exhaust Components:
(Use x4 M3x6mm button cap screws).
Exhaust, Mesh Grill - This is a screen to prevent object intrusion into the exit. Use with on of the Exit Plate options.
Exhaust, Exit Plate Square Hole - For use with filter only configurations or by preference.
Exhaust, Exit Plate Hose Connection - Hose connection for your configuration.
Fan, 92mm x 26mm housing - Can be added to your exit stack or can also be configured independently.
Exhaust, Exit Plate Round Hole - Use for fan exit.
Component, Gasket - This is a universal gasket for between components. (Most components seal rather well without this gasket).


Hose Coupler and Wall mounting:
Coupler, Hose Tall 54mm - Coupler to connect 4" Flexible Air Ducting Vent Hose.
Coupler, Hose Shallow 38mm - Coupler to connect 4" Flexible Air Ducting Vent Hose.
Wall Plate, Hose Connection - Wall exhaust hose connection.


- Use recommendations -
Use top glass riser or open door a little to increase airflow.
Set the chamber fan to 70% or higher.

for printing polycarbonate or reinforced nylon filament, Bambu recommends setting the chamber to 60C. I don't know what temperature it comes out, but if it comes out slightly above 50C, could it warp the exhaust modules if I print them in PLA? or should I use a more heat resistant filament for this print project? thanks!

I am actually thinking of printing it in PETG (more heat-resistant than PLA) and maybe reprint it in ASA (since I definitely need this before I start printing stuff in ASA

In which order do I place hepa and carbon? What is printer longevity wise best? And what is air quality wise best?

Amazing job, exceptionally well thought out and designed. The only thing I would have added would be a base plate option that was setup to use female threaded inserts.
