Description

This 3D-printed model is an ironing calibration table designed to fine-tune ironing settings for the top layers of a print. It features a grid of squares where flow rate increases from left to right, and speed increases from top to bottom.

  • Flow Rate (X-axis, left to right): Adjusted in increments, helping identify the optimal extrusion amount for a smooth, glossy finish.
  • Speed (Y-axis, top to bottom): Ranges from 5mm/s to 30mm/s, allowing for a comparison of how different speeds affect the surface quality.

By analyzing the smoothness, streaking, or under/over-extrusion of each section, users can determine the best combination of flow and speed for optimal ironing performance.
