This marble run is designed to upcycle the Bambu filament cardboard cores. It is stackable.
The track is also unique in that as the marble runs around, it makes a unique sound that resembles those made by swirling helicopter blades, interrupted by bursts of grrr sound as it rolls down the stairs.
Easily print with PLA without support. The bottom track is printed only once while the regular track can be printed as many as one wants. (Note: the bottom track looks the same as the regular tracks except it doesn’t have the hole at the end of the track section).
The optional tower top completes the castle look.
Easy assembly: Insert a cardboard core into the groove on the bottom track, then push a regular track onto the cardboard core, then rotate the regular track so the tip point of the bottom track aligns with the left side of the marking cut on the bottom of the regular track (see the last photo) (important: misalignment may cause the marble to stop). Make sure the cardboard cores are pushed all the way in the grooves for the track to stay level. Stack as many regular tracks on as many cardboard cores as you want.
Note: The groove can fit all the cardboard cores that I have, some loosely and some tightly. But I can see the possibility that some cardboard cores may not fit and can’t be used.
