Vacuum Cleaner Nozzle Adapter for Zip Lock Bag Evacuation

A custom nozzle attachment for standard vacuum cleaners designed specifically for evacuating air from zip lock bags. Perfect for storing 3D printing filament or other items that benefit from vacuum storage. I designed this nozzle as a cost-effective alternative to purchasing expensive zip lock bags with built-in vacuum valves - now you can simply use affordable standard zip lock bags. The built-in vent openings allow you to reduce the powerful suction of standard vacuum cleaners to safely evacuate bags without damaging them.

Features:

  • Separate print profiles included for vacuum cleaner pipes with 32mm or 35mm outer diameter
  • Adjustable suction strength via vent openings: simply cover/uncover vent holes with your hand to control airflow

Why Adjustable Suction Matters:

Most household vacuum cleaners generate too much suction power for delicate zip lock bags, which can cause the plastic to get sucked in and damage the bag. The vent openings in this design allow you to precisely control the suction strength by simply covering or uncovering the holes with your fingers.

Usage:

Close the zip lock bag almost completely, leaving just a small opening in one corner. Put the nozzle through this opening, activate your vacuum cleaner, and adjust suction as needed using the vent openings. Images and GIF in the gallery demonstrate the proper technique.
