Want to store your coins, but don't have something exciting to store them in? Look no further! This state-of-the-art submersible is perfect for storing your loose change. Rather than carbon fiber, this hull is made of two filament spools and a handful of PLA (or material of your choosing….)
The main profile is a piggy bank. If you are intending to use it as a piggy bank, I would highly recommend gluing all parts together, minus the front portion. When the bank gets full, simply remove the front to remove the coins.
When connecting the base of the sub to the legs, they are just a press fit. I tried to make it where it would be quite tight once pushed together.
I've included an assembly document if you are having trouble!
YouTube Assembly:
I've set the infill to 5% (gyroid) to reduce filament usage. I haven't had any issues with this infill, but change to your liking.
As for supports, you should only notice supports needed for the top part of the sub. Unfortunately I could not design it (nor slice it) it a way where it would not need supports.
