Description

I recently purchased a K2 HE for traveling. While traveling, I wanted to protect the keys and the USB-C port from being damaged while in my backpack to/from the office via cars and airplanes. I've also included a sliding lid to allow for storage of the USB dongle and the factory USB cable.

I made this case specifically to fit the K2 HE but it may fit other keyboards as well, so feel free to download the TEST print profile that has a section of the cover to test fit it with your keyboard.

I printed it with Bambu Iron Gray Metallic filament and love the look of it in the finished form.

I printed with .20 profile with 4 walls for strength but the main portion of the cover only has enough room for 2 walls. I'm not sure how long the tab to snap it in place will last but I'm open to ideas on improving it in a future iteration!

The lid to the storage may be a little tough to get on at first but it should get easier after a few on/offs. I did this to make sure it wouldn't slide off easily.

To allow it to print part of the storage area without supports, I added (2) 45º supports that can be cut out for more room:
