Description

Well, I bought this "Portable Laptop Desk Computer Table Stand Adjustable Bed Bedside Mobile Study" from ebay thinking it would be nice for my laptop

But turn out this is just a very very bad product. The metal tubes are so thin that I can bend them easily with bare hand. No wonder why it is so cheap. Apparently there are 13 people who are going to buy this sh*tty product and I couldn't tell them not to buy this table. The table top, made in particle board, looks quite nice though.

Throw it away is kind of waste, so I repurpose the table top as a foot rest. Spending some time drawing the leg on fusion and then knock this off the printer. Cylinder shape like conventional table leg would be easy to draw but won't be stable and strong with 3D printing, so I went with L shape instead. Adding some hexagon cut out for style and voila!

Work very well as foot rest!

I use nano gel tape to glue the legs to the board, very strong and stable

If you want to increase it to 20cm height, just print the dowels on plate 2 and then print plate 1 again. Use some glue to hold it all together.
