Flexi Glasses Case Brillenetui Brille Cover

I adore this model, but unfortunately, it proved slightly too small for my reading glasses

therefore, I modestly upscaled it

it now comfortably accommodates spectacles with a width of 161mm

Printing:

Small user support blocks are situated beneath the side wall radii. Printing should utilize a 0.2 mm layer height. If these support blocks are unnecessary, consider partitioning the model within your slicer for subsequent removal. However, you will then need to employ an alternative support method in these areas.

I printed this using PETG, 0.2 mm layer height

Tips:

  1. For a different case width, try scaling the model solely along the A-axis. The original inter-wall spacing measures 154 mm (refer to the image below).

  2. To adjust the model's depth and height, endeavor to scale the B- and C-axes using identical values!!! Otherwise, folding the model might present difficulties.

  3. And yes, feel free to experiment with overall scaling

This is a great design and family & friends all want one. Who knew PETG could be so flexible, yet strong. I’ve scaled to fit different sized glasses, and so far always works well. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
