A cute little chick that hides inside its egg. When closed, it looks like a walking egg with funny little feet, but open it up, and a cheerful chick pops out.

Another adorable print from Alchemic Matter. Seriously, this person doesn't miss. Their designs are fantastic, every single one, and the assembly for their bird series is so easy and quick. I literally keep this person's user page as my bookmark for makerworld because of their high quality models and this one is no exception. I love walking into my girlfriend's office with a new 'fat bird' and surprising them with it. This one doubly so since it has the egg shell to add another layer of mystery and surprise!

it is fully deserve. I think the only bird I haven't printed from you is the owl and that is simply a color issue because I wouldn't use brown filament often enough to be worth buying a roll. if I can remember, I'll take a picture of all the little guys that my girlfriend keeps on their shelf of honor. if I may make a request, a snowy owl would be very appreciated!

very cute print had a little messiness around the base of the chick where the supports were, but that’s likely to be my print settings and is hidden by the shell anyway

Thanks. The bottom part is always the hardest, this time I've set normal supports at a higher angle and my tests came out nearly flawless (P1S and regular bambu pla, did you change support type?

In this case I had to run the chick in PETG since that was the only yellow I had, and I don't have PETG as dialed in as I would like, so 100% on me :D
