I printed mine with a 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle (recommended for glow-in-the-dark filament). If using a smaller nozzle, I suggest increasing the infill percentage to add weight and keep the vase stable.

would it hold water without any waterproofing done to it aka just print and use?

it depends on what filament you use and whether you have well calibrated your filament. when using PETG should be fine
