Description

Jewelry Bead Layout and Organization Tray

This bead organizer tray was designed to help streamline the jewelry-making process. My wife, who spends a lot of time working on intricate beadwork, needed something simple and practical to keep her materials organized and make it easier to lay out different design ideas. Hence this tray was born.

Description

  • The tray has four compartments at the bottom that hold different kinds of beads. This makes it easy to keep multiple types of beads within reach without them mixing together.
  • Above the compartments are ten shallow  and tapered rows where you can lay out bead patterns. This lets you arrange beads in different sequences and see how they look side by side before committing to a final design.
  • The ten shallow rows are designed for both planning and convenience. Once you’ve arranged a pattern, it’s easy to thread the beads directly from the row without losing track of your sequence. When you’re finished, or if you want to reset your layout, you can simply slide the beads up and off the end of the row into a container or to be placed back into one of the four built-in bead compartments for quick and easy cleanup.

It’s a straightforward tool that helps keep things organized and makes it easier to visualize patterns. Instead of beads rolling around on the table or having to sort through piles, everything has its place. The tray shown was printed in bambu PLA. This tray printed in a bright color to make it easier to see beads of different sizes and shades.
