Description

Simple two part vibration absorbing feet for sim racing or other 40mm wide aluminium extrusion rigs.
This does a very good job of isolating vibrations from simagic reactors, basskickers, haptics, wheelbase from the floor. Your SO and/or neighbours will love this more than you do.

The uploaded model is designed for use with a 150kg total weight with HV-31030 compression springs. You can buy them here: https://hermans-veren.com/shop-hv-31030

I would recommend calculating which springs your weight needs and modifying the original CAD file which you can get here:
https://cad.onshape.com/documents/1320348826ead155054cdfe1/w/1662b5900434e05888677fcc/e/5d83cf1c0a0bc8c13ad769bf?renderMode=0&uiState=67d547f0028a0063a0d39903

Ideally, you use the widest spring you can find and make sure your total weight puts the spring halfway through its travel. Taller spring (like the one in this example) can cause instability. Should I buy new, wider springs, I will update this design.
