I recently purchased a Keychron Q6 HE and loved the keyboard but didn't like the fact it didn't come with a palm rest. I didn't want to purchase one of their options and so I went looking on MakerWorld for one. I didn't find one I liked or wasn't sure if it would fit, so I decided to model my own with storage.
I modeled the Q6 in Fusion 360 and made some prints/tweaks until it fit well. This palm rest may fit other Keychron variants but I'm not sure on their measurements.
I did utilize (8) 6x3mm magnets from Amazon to make the lid be removable and to minimize how much movement there is while rest on it.
I've provided a 2 plate, 2 color print profile and a 1 color, 1plate print profile.
In my attempts to print this, I found the .20 print layer at normal speed caused these to wobble way too much that it effected the print quality. I changed it to Bambu's .16 print layer High Quality and it also reduced the printing speed to avoid these toppling over during print.
I highly recommend using the textured PEI plate and cleaning your plate really well with soap and water before printing this for optimal adhesion. I also left the top lid of X1C opened slightly to release some of the heat.
