Brim Activation & Adhesion Recommendations: The brim is now enabled by default. While glue remains optional, it is still recommended for optimal print success, particularly for A1 and other "bed slinger" type printers. If you encounter bed adhesion issues, consider reducing the print speed to 50%. Advanced users may disable the brim and use a glue stick to minimize post-processing and achieve a cleaner finish.
New Coin Tray & GPS Smartcard Versions: Additional versions have been introduced, featuring a slot designed for cards with a thickness of up to 2.6mm. The included coin trays are tailored for USD, CAD, and EUR. Advanced users printing the USD/CAD version can customize the exposed infill pattern for a personalized aesthetic.

Love the design! Any idea why the 5 slot with clip does this on the edge? I tried different colors with simillar results. Even slowed the print down to 30mm for exterior. The edges seem to have strings of filament left behind and then bulges of material in the same spots when I print.

Hi @piloda , I will have to check the seam line on the .3mf file, but I'm out of town. Could you do me a favour and check if the seam line is missing? and did you change any settings after you download the file?

other than the bulges, the tiny holes suggest that you may have an under extrusion issue. You can follow this guide to fix it. https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/filament-acc/filament/print-quality/under-extrusion

@heyydrew I tried setting the seam position to random as a test and still got the same bulge at the exact same spot. I am reviewing your suggesting to fix the under extrusion now to see if that also helps with the bulging!

hey, thank you for sharing your ideas, yes, I can add more features to this wallet. When you say Smartcard, do you mean a front display so you can tap without taking the first card out? Is e-clip like a cash clip? If so, I am planning to add it next update.

The print profile is no longer public

Had issues on both my X1C and A1 Mini with the upper most layers, where the model was not stable and prints were ruined. Tried the other print profile for better grip with a brim and had success. Love the model and the clutch force towards the cards.

I'm glad brims work, but did you use glue before. Most ppl don't have issues printing with glue.

3D Lac, which to me has been superior to glue in every other model. I didnt loose bed adhesion as the bottom part were still attached, the top part began to move and the print was ruined. I dont know how the brim changed that, as I tried brim with your print profile too (manually) but that didnt help there. So the other print profile probbly has some other trick up it´s sleeve too.

Wears out over time, but cool though, I don’t think you really would use this a s a real wallet though.

Good design, but the grip will wear out, rubber bands could help.

Thank you for your feedback! It does wear out overtime, like all 3D prints. I recommend print this in PETG or TPU to improve the life expectancy. I printed in PLA, and it has not been wore out yet. Please note that the wallet material requires a day to cure, meanwhile the grip feel may be different, and this is not due to wear. With this said, I'm strengthening the grip on the next update, stay tuned.

if the grip mechanism is not smooth, you can try curing it using a hair dryer :)

it looks like your print is moved during printing. did you use glue on the print bed to secure the print? it's a must.
