Description

Cool retracting claws.

NO TOOLS NEEDED.

Given the confusion in the previous model where people did not understand the no glue file, here is all the claw put together to be assembled using to glue at all. (If the pins are too loose try scaling them up by 1%)

To assemble, look at the following image, inserting the pins to the corresponding holes.

Here, instead of gluing the claw to the mechanism, simply slide it to its pkace:

(Beaware that it is a strong fiction fit, so most of the times you won't be able to put it appart. Also, be careful not to break it when assembling.)

Mix and match any colors and filaments, no need to be any specific one.

Thank you for the rating and comment! I’m glad you liked it and sorry for it being fragile… due to material limitation and small design, fragility is inherited…

Other Issues:the size is small, where the attachment for the blade is not fitting. The screw hole on the plate to attach the second ring , doesn't fit the screws.

So do you mean the mechanism does not fit in the blade?

I have now updated the print profile for an easier fit, I hope this solves your issue. If you’d like to try the new file just print the piece named “base”, the one which connects the claw to the mechanism. The rest stayed the same. Thanks you for your feedback and make sure to let me know it it is still not solved.

I’m sorry to hear that… I don’t think that is an issue with the actual model though. I did not seem to find that issue and if being realistic I recon it has more to do with the filament state than the model. As I mentioned before, given the material limitation, if using PLA they will not be too strong. They serve more of a prop function than an actual weapon. If you want any stronger use I’d recommend either using ABS or any sort of reinforced or carbon fiber material
