Description

Rugged Magnetic Eyewear Hard Case Vault

An elegant and safe way to transport your eyewear. Durable enough to be packed in luggage, gear bags, etc without fear of damaging your glasses. Glasses should be wrapped in a microfiber cloth or carry bag. Strong magnetic closure keeps the vault closed until you want it open. Finger grips ease opening.

Holds glasses up to 160mm Wide and 65mm Tall with a folded height of 45mm or less.

Overall size - 175mm Tall - 75mm Wide - 50mm Deep

IMPORTANT: There are two separate parts, the inner drawer and the outer housing. You must download and print BOTH to have a complete case.

Requires 4pcs 15X3 Rare Earth Magnet - See BOM. - Install with a drop of your favorite super glue. Use a magnet on the outside to guide the magnets into their spots in the housing. I use a chopstick to put a dab of glue in each cavity then guide it in with a magnet.

The print quality is superb and clean However, the case becomes almost impossible to open when all four magnets are used Two would have been perfectly sufficient for this size I will have to reprint the whole thing

My kids can open it fine, that's how I decided the size of magnet. Not sure what to tell you. You don't want it to just shake open, it becomes pointless. 1 magnet it will shake open easily.

I adhered the magnets so that the drawer is pulled into the box by the magnets Neodymium magnets Without a sharp object, opening the box is nearly impossible 🙈
