Description

Hexagons are the Bestagons! This fidget toy is designed around a honeycomb. There are 7 separate fidget areas connected in a strong honeycomb lattice.

The honeycomb pattern looks especially fun in a dual or tri-color filament, but it also looks great in a single color.

These are my go to fidget!! Quick to print, look awesome and they move so that you can actually make designs with each individual honeycomb. I love it - Thank you fit the design!

Took me 2 or 3 tries before I had a somewhat successful print, and even then the center pieces mostly broke right away. I've always struggled with these types of fidget toys to not have print failures.

Thanks for the feedback. Which brand/type of filament are you using, and which type of build plate? And are you using any custom filament profiles? I'm just curious if there are any common links between the people who are having issues that might help me track it down. Thanks!

It was a dual color silk filament. The issues I had are not exclusive to your model, I've had troubles printing other variations of the hex/square concentric ring style fidget models, usually related to build plate adhesion. I think I was even using the Bambu cool plate supertak plate for this print, and it still came up on the side with the aux fan. if I try again I'll disable the aux fan and see if that helps. Where it didn't lift up on the plate during printing, it was during the removal from the plate process that the center pieces broke, I guess I wasn't careful enough when removing it from the super sticky supertak plate.

you shound be able to just pick up the build sheet and give it a little flex/bend to safely pop them off

Nifty little toy. I scaled it up to 150%, printed it in Sunlu Magenta/Gold on the SuperTack plate, and it turned out great!
