Description

A lantern-inspired lamp

15x15x24 cm (DxWxH)

Can be printed with dual shades as pictured by the blue/white and grey/amber lamps and with only outer shade and “lid” as the all white lamp, which i also tested with a IKEA Trådfri RGB-light and it was beautiful ;)

Designed to use both E14 and E27 socketholders with retainingcollars and i do recomend you try and adjust the height of the socket (If you can) so that the lightsource/bulb is as much in the middle as possible for optimal light-distrubution.

I also included a simple holder for the ledkit001 for those who want to try it.

Unfortunately i have to upload the shades (inner and outer) on a different pritprofile as they are printed in vase mode so you need to make sure you download both the shade and the base printprofiles to get all the necessary parts.

Assembly instructions

The only quirky thing is when you glue the shade-ring/holder to the base, its best to mount it firmly in the shade first , apply the glue to the base and then press them both in the base and try to “sync” the ribbs/ pattern. When happy about the position just lay a book or something on top of the shade and let the glue dry. The socketholders can only be mounted one way so just choose which one you want and glue it in.

The inner shade should not require any glue and is pressfitted in place.

¤¤¤ CAUTION! ALWAYS USE LED-LIGHTS!! ¤¤¤

Happy printing! :)

Wonderful concept Versatile and subtle, like the changing color of a light bulb, it can modify the atmosphere of a space
