Description

This is only the arm piece for the Minimalist Heat Insert Press, this one is designed for use with the Pinecil v2.

Although the original arm designed for use with the TS100 is similar, the Pinecil has a slightly different shell.

In the photos I have the clear housing on my Pinecil v2, but the original black one should work as well. It also has room for the larger 1st party Pine64 thumbscrew to slide in.

Oh interesting, you put it in the other way. I have the large thumbscrew on my Pinecil, so I put it in "backwards", i.e. with the screen facing the heat insert press's body. This is something that's come to annoy me pretty significantly though as I've used it, since the screen is then no longer facing the user and is hard to read during use 😂 I might modify this soon to put the thumbscrew slot in front so that the screen is also facing forward during use. However, as you know, installing the soldering iron holder for this heat insert press relatively involved, and well my laziness has so far outweighed my annoyance at this issue haha
