Description

It time for another suspended model.. this time i'm making the batman's batsignal..
I've intergrated the Bambu Lab LED kit into the batsignal.. so you just have to buy the kit from bambu store and you are done..
Printing this in multicolor so that you can use transparent filament for some of the model to make the model pop out..
And it would make the batman logo looks like it actually floats..

You should share that cover stl, my strings are very flimsy and I don't like the look of it.

Your model is great. Unfortunately I tore off the bat symbol through my own fault :( I then printed and inserted a matching ring with this bat symbol (https://www.printables.com/de/model/700013-wallart-batman). Looks great too

do you have the batlogo stl combined with the lamp as stl?

@user_481890907 No, I created that as a separate stl. A matching ring where the logo is in the center.

Loved this. unfortunately the bat symbol popped out when lifting the plate, so I designed and printed this insert. glued the bat logo to the front, then placed it face down and glued it on the inside before assembly. works like a charm.

Any chance we get that as an stl or something? Would love to print it this way!

looks great, but lots of waste on the main light housing piece, 80+ grams. Would be great if the clear layers could be built on a different plate and snapped in. but beautiful either way. Would also be great if the light could be made to rotate in the base and on the fork.

agreed, would also be nice if the 3 black side rails actually clipped to the housing so it only has to swap filament a handful of times rather than every couple of layers

This is awesome!! I had issues with the suspension breaking from removing off of the plate but got the idea off someone’s review to add a front plate and I love it.

I would also love that remix if you could share it. I want to make this for a friend, but with all the reviews of the strings breaking... not so sure it would turn out. Plus I think the solid version looks better.

I kept breaking the suspension so I printed the rear plate at 102% and clipped off the tabs to snap it in and it fit snug. I put a ring of superglue around it and glued the bat center.

Love the model, but my strings look like garbage compared to everybody else's. I did use transparent PLA, is that why?

i had this issue with the other suspended prints. i forgot to turn off the aux fan and it kept blowing and messing with my stringing. so set that to 0. give that a try. my suspended umbrella was perfect after that.

A couple of things. I can’t manage to get the lamp to rotate in the vertical as the raised bumps in the supporting arms seem too high, but I also had the idea to make the defuser plate out of PLA glow, and that looks really good at night :). An excellent model
